What are the three free designs?
Three homepage designs for your business. Free, in minutes, before you pay a cent. Made from your own words, hours and services, on a phone and a desktop. Pick one, get your quote, and I build from it.
Answer a few short questions at /start/ and three homepage designs appear on the spot, each a different layout, colour scheme and type, made only from what you told me. Nothing is invented: where your photos will go, you see grey. There’s no call, no deposit and no email gate. They’re for a new site; if you’re keeping the site you have, tick “A fresh look” and you get them too.
How much does a website cost?
One-time packages start at $449 for The Porch (a one-page site), $999 for Main Street (up to 5 pages, bookings or ordering, Google tune-up) and from $2,299 for The Corner Store (online store or full ordering), at launch prices. Prices are in CAD, plus HST where applicable.
Builds are 50% to start and 50% at launch, or any package can be paid over 12 months, care included. You can get a quote and see the total as you go. Every package includes three free homepage designs before you pay anything: see yours.
What is the launch price?
Launch price: my first five clients get the launch price on any package, in return for letting me feature the site as a case study. That’s $449 for The Porch, $999 for Main Street, $2,299 for The Corner Store (from), instead of $599, $1,799, $2,999.
How long does it take?
The Porch: about 2 weeks; Main Street: about 3 weeks; The Corner Store: about 5 weeks, counted from the deposit and your files. The biggest factor is usually how quickly photos and words come together, and I’ll help with both.
What do you need from me?
Not much, honestly:
- A quick chat about your business and customers.
- Your logo, if you have one (if not, I can make one).
- A handful of photos, or permission to use the ones you already post.
- Your hours, services or menu, and prices if you show them.
- Feedback on the design preview.
I write the words with you, so you don’t need to be a writer.
Who owns the domain?
You do. Your domain (like yourbusiness.ca) is registered in your business’s name. I can handle the technical setup and renewals for you, but it’s yours, and so is the site once it’s paid for.
Can I cancel my care plan?
Yes. Care plans (and social and ads) are month-to-month with no contract. Just give me 30 days’ notice. If you leave, I hand over your files and help you move your domain, no hard feelings and no hostage-taking.
Can I pay monthly?
Yes. Any package can be paid over 12 months, care included: $0 down, then $67/month for The Porch, $113/month for Main Street, $221/month for The Corner Store, with Essentials care included.
It’s a 12-month agreement. If you leave early, you pay the remaining build balance. After 12 months the site is fully yours, and care continues at Essentials ($29/month) or any plan you like.
Do you do ads and social media?
Yes. Social Starter and Social Plus cover regular posts (and short videos on Plus). Ads Management covers setup, management and a monthly report for Google and Meta ads, plus ad spend, paid directly to Meta/Google. All of it is month-to-month with 30 days’ notice.
Do you use AI tools?
Yes, where they genuinely help: things like drafting ideas, tidying photos or double-checking code. They make me faster, which keeps prices down. But every word, design and line of code is reviewed by me, and nothing goes live on your site until you and I are both happy with it.
I already have a Facebook page. Do I still need a website?
Probably. A website is the one place online you fully control: it shows up on Google, it can take bookings or orders, and it doesn’t change its rules on you. Your social pages work best pointing people to it.
Can you fix or redesign the site I already have?
Yes. Redesigns are one of my favourite jobs. Book a free call and send me the link; I’ll tell you honestly whether it needs a tune-up or a fresh start.
Are the shops on your homepage real clients?
No. They’re concept demos for made-up businesses, built to show the range of websites I can make. They’re labelled as concept demos everywhere they appear. My real client work is on the Work page.
