How it works

Six steps. Zero jargon.

From “hi” to a live website, here’s exactly what happens, and who does what.

  1. Three free designs, before any money

    Answer a few short questions at /start/ and three homepage designs appear, made from your own words, hours and services, on a phone and a desktop. Pick the one you like, and your quote follows straight away. No call, no deposit, no email gate.

    Tell me about your business, and pick the design you like best.

    Send your quote, and build from the design you picked.

  2. A free chat, if you want one

    A 15-minute call (or an email thread, if you prefer), whenever you like: before the designs or after. You tell me about your business and your customers. I ask a few questions and suggest what’s worth doing.

    Tell me what you do and what you want more of.

    Recommend a package and give you a clear price.

  3. Your full homepage

    Once you approve the quote, the first 50% gets things started. I design your real homepage from the design you picked, with your photos and words, and show it to you before building the rest.

    Send photos, your logo if you have one, and anything you want said.
    Me
    Write, design and share a preview you can click through.

  4. Revisions

    You tell me what you love and what you don’t. I adjust until it feels like your business, then build out the rest of the pages.

    Give honest feedback. “I don’t like it” is fine, and so is “make it more blue.”
    Me
    Make the changes and finish every page on phones and desktops.

  5. Launch

    I connect your domain, set up the finishing touches (like your Google Business Profile, if it’s in your package) and flip the switch. The second 50% is due at launch.

    Give it a final look and a thumbs-up.

    Launch it, test it and show you how everything works.

  6. Care

    If you choose a care plan, I look after hosting, security, backups and updates, and handle your edits. Month-to-month, with 30 days’ notice to cancel.

    Send me changes whenever you need them.

    Keep your site fast, safe and up to date.

Most small sites go from first chat to launch in a few weeks. The biggest factor is usually how quickly photos and words come together, and I’ll help with both.
